“Drawing, painting, creating is something I have always done. When this simple joy was interrupted for a time, I began to appreciate more fully what I have come to think of as everyday miracles. The themes of hope, memories, the healing rhythms of nature, the power of intuition and the strength of human spirit inspire the images I make. I share my father’s fascination with astronomy, mythology, and history. I especially enjoy observing and interacting with people, often including them in my paintings. I am also fascinated by birds and love animals. My work is reflective of my wonder, reverence and passion for life and my strong belief in the power of optimism.”
