SECONDARY MARKET TREASURES BENEFITTING THE HOUSTON ARTS FOUNDATION

HEIDI VAUGHAN FINE ART is proud to present Blue Chip Houston, an art exhibition and sale of secondary market treasures benefitting the Houston Arts Foundation. The show opens at 11 am on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the gallery, located at 3510 Lake Street at Colquitt in Houston's oldest Gallery Row. A reception will take place in the evening from 5 pm to 8 pm. Blue Chip Houston runs through February 17, 2024. HVFA events are always open to all and offered free to the public. 

The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, mixed media works, drawings, prints, and photographs. Heidi Vaughan Fine Art is dedicated to displaying and promoting the work of local Houston artists. The gallery represents a dozen Houston-based artists currently, and also specializes in the sale of secondary market art by international artists from the 20th and 21st century. Blue Chip Houston offers a special opportunity to view and purchase works of art by some of the most important artists who have lived and worked in Houston. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Houston Arts Foundation.

The Houston Arts Foundation (HAF) is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of public art in Houston. Since 1965, HAF has raised funds and initiated programs to preserve and protect Houston’s most iconic public works of art, including the Jesús Moroles Police Officer's Memorial, Jaume Plensa's Tolerance, the Sam Houston Monument by Enrico Filiberto, Vaquero by Luis Jimenez, Mahatma Gandhi by Ram V. Sutar, Jim Love's Portable Trojan Bear, and Henry Moore's Large Spindle Piece, among many others. HAF works to promote cultural awareness through collaborations with individuals, organizations, corporations, foundations, and especially with direct community involvement through the Adopt A Monument Program.
